## 2. BOOK ONLINE AND SERVICE REQUESTS

When you submit a Book Online form, request a quote, or otherwise request service through our website, we use the information you provide to:

– Contact you about the request

– Arrange or discuss service availability

Submitting an online request does not by itself confirm an appointment or a specific arrival time.

A member of the Appliance Repair Pro team may contact you by phone or text message to confirm availability, obtain additional information, or coordinate service.

## 3. SMART BOOKING VOICE ASSISTANT

Our website may provide a Smart Booking voice assistant that allows you to speak with an AI-powered assistant about appliance problems, service questions, pricing, and service requests.

Smart Booking requires access to your device microphone.

When you use Smart Booking:

– Your microphone audio is transmitted for real-time processing by our AI technology provider

– Your speech may be converted into text

– The AI assistant may generate spoken and written responses

– A transcript of the conversation may be created

– Information you provide during the conversation may be used to create or assist with a service request

Smart Booking is currently powered using AI technology and API services provided by xAI / SpaceXAI.

Appliance Repair Pro does not intentionally store a separate raw audio recording of Smart Booking conversations on the WordPress website after the session. We may retain the conversation transcript, service-request information, and related records when reasonably necessary for customer service and business purposes.

Our AI provider processes information transmitted through its API according to its own contractual, privacy, security, and data-retention practices. At the time this Privacy Policy was last updated, the provider states that API requests and responses may be retained for up to 30 days by default for security, abuse, or misuse auditing unless a different data-retention configuration applies.

For current information about the AI provider’s practices, please refer to:

https://x.ai/legal/privacy-policy

https://docs.x.ai/developers/faq/security

Do not provide highly sensitive information through Smart Booking that is not necessary for appliance repair service.

## 4. PHONE CALLS AND AI-ASSISTED COMMUNICATIONS

Appliance Repair Pro may use automated or AI-assisted technology to help answer calls, collect service-request information, respond to common questions, and route information to our team.

Calls or related transcripts may be processed or retained for customer service, quality assurance, service-request management, security, or business-record purposes where permitted by applicable law.

If you prefer to communicate with a person, you may request human follow-up.

## 5. PHONE CALLS AND TEXT MESSAGES

If you provide a phone number in connection with a service request, we may use that number to contact you regarding:

– Your service request

– Scheduling or availability

– Appointment coordination

– Questions about the appliance or service location

– Updates related to service

– Follow-up regarding completed or previous service

Providing a phone number for a service request does not mean that you have agreed to receive unrelated promotional or marketing text messages.

If Appliance Repair Pro uses automated promotional text messaging in the future, we will obtain any consent required by applicable law before sending such messages.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
